Worth Knowing: Learning is an expression of very complex neurological ability.
Many students do not express their full intelligence potential as they have never learned to do so. We are never taught how to learn. Traditional education is never planned as a program which prepares the brain for learning. It is a system that continuously examines us on material that we are given to absorb, understand, remember, process and to express in writing or orally. Are you familiar with the frustrating experience of knowing that: “I am not less intelligent than my friend but for some reason he succeeds and receives much higher grades in exams than I do with much less effort.” Or: “My achievements are reasonably good in certain areas (humanistic, for example), and in other areas (mathematics) I am an under-achiever. it seems as if the brain has difficulty absorbing and understanding these areas or cannot comprehend at all. From this I conclude that I am not talented in these areas! My friend can continue his studies in whatever direction he chooses but I shall have to limit my choices to areas that correspond to my learning achievements and these choices will influence my future”?
In fact each of us can express full intelligence potential up to academic intelligence standards both cognitive and creative enabling us to make correct choices regarding the future!
How? By opening up the nervous system and neurological connections required for learning. Intelligence is an expression of the quantity of neurological connections that the human brain has. These connections are physical entities therefore it is possible to develop and arouse them by using physical methods. Our brain reacts to training and practice exactly like the muscles in our body!
The plan for academic excellence generates the required neurological conditions by correct training so that we shall be able to understand everything. By showing high achievements, including in areas which we ourselves assessed as lack of talent, the measure for success is simple. Improved grades without too much effort, in a flowing and natural way.
