The Raviv Method is a developmental neuro-cognitive programme that monitors all the child’s/adults developmental, sensory-motor stages. If any developmental gap is discovered, intervention will be directed at bridging the gap with the focus on the skills that are causing the child/adult difficulties.
The treatment includes establishing an orientation point, building a stable midline for the body, practising regulating movement, practising the coordination of movement between parts of the body including the upper and lower parts, orientation exercises in space, combined practice of sight, hearing and movement. Practising hand-eye coordination, motor flow, focusing attention while performing tasks, regulating attention and dividing attention, and correcting learning disorders.
The advantage of the Raviv Method is that it treats the root of the disorder or difficulty and not only the symptoms. The treatment allows for the brain to be correctly wired in the areas of the disorders and new skills to be acquired with great effectiveness.
